Gator's Story of Bone Cancer and Leg Amputation

Gator is a 7 year old male Lab who had bone cancer (osteosarcoma) in his right humerus, the bone if the arm.   That right front leg was amputated.  His owner, DB, writes a few weeks after surgery:
"Hi Dr. Zeltzman,
I just thought I'd give you an update.  Gator is doing GREAT!! Other than getting tired quicker, he's the same boy we had before surgery.  But now he's out of pain.

He is actually swimming.  He uses his tail (rudder) a lot more for balance, but he is doing great.

Thank you for everything.  It really is great having our happy crazy boy back.”
