In addition, we needed to remove enough tissue around the tumor to &#8220;get it all.&#8221; I amputated the mass along with the toe at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bartonheights.com\/\">Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>About a week later, the biopsy came back\u2026 benign! The mass was a nevus \u2013 a rather unusual diagnosis in a pet.
