Jia's Story of Paralyzation
I usually don’t post comments from my referring vets… but this is a happy exception. Jia, a 12 year old Shih Tzu, was paralyzed in the back legs. An MRI confirmed the suspicion of a slipped disc (L1-L2). We performed surgery at her family vet's hospital, and she started walking a few days later. Her family vet, Dr. J, writes: “Hi Dr. Zeltzman, Jia went home yesterday with her grateful owners. They cried tears of joy when they saw Jia walking. You have made a believer out of me! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!”
