Bernadette's Story of Ankle Tumor and Amputation

Bernadette is a 4 year old Swiss Moutain Dog mix who had amputation after a tendon sheath tumor was found in her ankle area. Almost 3 months after surgery, her owner GCP writes:

“She has adjusted well to having only 3 legs.  She has returned to playing with the soccer ball and doing flights of stairs well, jumping on the furniture.  She’s almost back to normal except for giving hugs.

Thank you so much Dr. Zeltzman and staff for the kindness, concern and care she received while going through surgery and recovery.  Thanks again.”
