Chloe's Story of Urinary Incontinence

Chloe is a 1 year old female Lab who was rescued by the Hillside SPCA in  Pottsville ,  PA.   She was urinary incontinent because of an ectopic ureter (ie a ureter who was connected to the wrong part of the bladder), as well as a redundant vulvar fold (ie a fold of extra skin).
Her incontinence resolved after surgery and she has quickly found a family to live with.   B, from the SPCA, wrote this very emotional letter:
"Dear Wonderful Employees of Valley Central Referral,
There are no words to ever thank you enough for your wonderful, tremendous gift in helping us get Chloe better so she could have another chance at life.  You have accomplished this.  She was adopted to a wonderful home! We were so thrilled.  Without your help, no one would have wanted her (with her incontinence).
I started a fund when my son Joe died.  He loved animals so much!  It is only used for spays, neuters and emergency cases.  Without "Joe's fund", I couldn't have helped her and so many other animals that needed special care due to abuse & neglect.  We will never forget the kindness you have shown us and our buddies.  You are wonderful people and making such a difference in so many lives.
With great gratitude and love, B"
