Sasha's Story of Salivary Gland Cancer
Sasha, a 13 year old female kitty, has cancer (carcinoma) in both salivary glands. Despite surgery and the use of cisplatin-beads, the cancer has come back. Despite this, Sasha’s owner, ND, writes:
“Dr Zeltzman,
I just thought I would send you an update on Sasha's progress. Although she is not perfect, you have enabled me to enjoy her company for many more months than I thought possible. Her cancer troubles started over a year ago, and without your expert intervention, I doubt that she would have survived for more than a few months. (…)
Anyway, I know she is happier here in the sunshine in the Florida Keys, than being stuck inside our home in PA.
Once again, thank you for giving me more time with Sasha.”
