Belle's Story of Dislocated Kneecaps
Belle is a 5 year old Lab mix who had dislocated knee caps (medial patella luxations). After surgery on both knees, her owner LF writes:
“Hi Dr. Zeltzman,
I just wanted to update you on Belle's progress after her surgery. You operated on her both knees for medial patella luxation. Since the 2nd knee was done, she continues to progress well, regaining incredible mobility. She is like a new dog, and she seems a lot happier so I know she must be feeling much better. She has been swimming almost every day. When she plays too hard she may limp a few hours after but she bounces back fully by the following day.
