Charlie, successful story of laryngeal paralysis surgery

Charlie, an 8 year old Brittany from Maryland, was suffocating and had to go to the emergency clinic.‏ He was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. Two months after his tie back surgery, his owner LD writes:
“Charlie is doing very well. (His skin incision) has healed nicely (…)
Inside the house his breathing is quiet, close-mouthed, and regular. When he gets excited and/or hot (outside doing his business), he pants. Occasionally he will clear his throat after drinking water or sleeping for a period of time. Otherwise when he is sleeping, he is quiet. No snoring, no heavy breathing, no gasping, etc.
My husband and I are so grateful to you and the staff at BAERC for saving our Brittany boy.”
