Video 4 months after TPLO on Boomer
Boomer, an 11 year old Lab mix, had a TPLO to address a torn ACL. Four months after surgery (the normal recovery time), his owner TW writes:
“Dear Dr Zeltzman, (4 months ago) you performed a TPLO on our 11 year old Boomer. While it’s been a long recovery, he is finally back to chasing tennis balls and confidently climbing stairs (he had a stutter step for a long time afterwards but it’s gone).
(…) This is the first week I have seen him have the confidence he lost and not tire like he had. He did sit to rest but much later in our game than what was typical even pre-surgery. As far as that’s concerned he’s well over 100%. Thanks for your care.”
