Vito’s story of a dislocated kneecap
Vito, a 5 year old Pomeranian, had surgery for a dislocated kneecap. Three months after surgery, his owner MV writes:
“Hello Dr. Zeltzman, (…) He had surgery for left medial patella luxation on July 25th and for the last 4 weeks we have been increasing the duration of his walks. With few exceptions due to weather conditions or time constraints, we have been walking between 20 to 30 minutes at a time, 2 to 3 times daily. Vito has tolerated these walks very well and seems to perform at 100% during these walks which includes walking in a field with uneven terrain and gradual inclines. He looks forward to these walks and seems happy doing them.
(…) Vito and I are so grateful to you for what you've done to improve his life! Thank you so much!”
