Darwin's Story of FCP and ACL Tear with TPLO
Darwin was a very memorable patient. I performed surgery on him 3 times: on his elbow when he was 6 month old (FCP or Fragmented Coronoid Process), and both his knees to repair an ACL tear with a TPLO, and to stabilize dislocated kneecaps.
Six months after the 2nd TPLO, his owner AS writes: “Just wanted to let you know that Darwin is doing great. Running in the snow and playing with his brothers. He is clearly a happy dog. (…) Thank you it was well worth it.”
