Harley is doing awesome despite 2 major orthopedic surgeries

Harley, a 1 year old, 110 lb Rottie, had a TPLO to address a torn ACL in January 2020.
One month after surgery, there may have been an incident at home, which led to a hip fracture. The concern was: is it truly traumatic or could it be bone cancer?
Once the TPLO healed, in March 2020, we performed an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) to remove the broken bone. Harley was closer to 100 lbs at that time…
In June 2020, Harley’s owner LC writes:
“I just wanted to reach out and let you know Harley is doing awesome!! She doesn’t cry when getting up, she has a very little limp, she’s acting like a puppy again!!
She walks about 1 mile a day, if these last couple of days were cooler, she would go longer. She seems to be doing everything a healthy dog would be doing
Stairs she is a little hesitant on but goes up and down
She plays fetch and even runs around with the kids
Thank you so much”
