Zoey's Story of Torn ACL and TPLO
Zoey, a 6 year old Rottie, had a TPLO to address a torn ACL ligament in her knee. Four months after surgery, her owner FS writes:
“Dear Dr. Zeltzman, You performed TPLO surgery on our Rottweiler Zoey. As requested, we are writing to update you on Zoey's condition following her rehab.
We are at the 9-week point following post rehab. She is doing very well. We have been walking her for 20-30 minutes once or twice daily. Occasionally we allow her some time off the leash in the yard after the walks when she is not so energetic (after Toby our other Rottie checks to be sure there are no squirrels or rabbits in the yard) (…)
Thank you for making Zoey almost as good as new. The recovery went faster and better than we expected. It has been a pleasure working with you.”
