Bella's Story of Lower Jaw Tumor
Bella, a 7 year old Springer, also needed part of her lower jaw to be removed because of a cancerous tumor (fibrosarcoma). Before surgery, her vet wrote:
"I was very concerned about my patient's quality of life and ability to look and act normally after hemi-mandibulectomy."
After surgery, her vet writes: “I was very impressed with how cosmetically normal she appeared and how well she acted afterwards. She was wagging her tail immediately postop and eating by the next day!"
