Brutus' Story of Paralysis due to Slipped Disc
Brutus, an 8 year old Corgi, was paralyzed because of a slipped disc (at T11-T12). He had an MRI and emergency surgery. Two weeks after surgery, Brutus was able to walk and his owner BB writes:
“Just an update on Brutus post surgery. He has healed very well and I have kept his outside activity to elimination only. (…) It appears that he can use both legs but the left side he favors for getting up and continually will lie on that side. Thanks for the surgery. I feel I made the right decision, it was close. Lucky for him and me both.”
